Aid for AVL: Help Asheville Rebuild from Hurricane Helene
Tax deductible
My name is Andrew, and I’m a current student at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. But a while ago, I was a new resident of Asheville, North Carolina. For those that haven’t had the pleasure of traveling to this town, words don’t do it justice. Its mountains, its people, and the community that make it up are something to behold. Asheville and its impact on my own life cannot be understated. Which is why when I found out about the destruction Hurricane Helene brought to this town, I was devastated. The humanitarian crisis is unlike anything this town has ever seen. Asheville needs your help.
As a student-athlete at Emory, I likely wouldn’t be in the position I’m in without the love and support from those within the Asheville community. So for the next 10 days, I will be donating a dollar for every mile run. If we can hit our $500 dollar goal, I will double this donation.
Please, consider contributing and sharing this GoFundMe. All the proceeds are going directly to United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, an organization providing short-term and long-term relief to those affected by Helene. Any and all help goes a long way
