Aid for Becca Doss’s sons and final expenses.

It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our sister, daughter, loved one and friend Becca Doss. On Friday August 9th Becca suffered a massive stroke. The stroke was fatal and caused from hypertension. At 38 years old she leaves behind her 2 sons 17 year old Xander Thomas Doss and 5 year old Bryce James Doss. Our family is asking for your prayers at this time. Becca was a caring and loving mother. She was a faithful and loyal friend. She was an amazing sister. She will be dearly missed by us all. We are asking also for any support no matter how small to help us as we navigate through the financial costs of her final arrangements and on going support of her sweet babies while we all try and provide them with the love and support they deserve, and she wanted for them. Becca was a hard worker and a single mother. She did not have life insurance or health insurance. She worked at least 40 hours a week and at times as many as 60+ but insurances was a luxury she could not afford. She wrote a letter once to explain to a court why she was driving without insurance after she had been pulled over and ticketed. I’d like to share that letter with you because it explains her life and situation far better than I could and it’s in her own words and from her heart. I warn you it’s hard to read especially if you knew her at all. She was not one to make her troubles public. She confided in a small handful of people. It’s heart breaking and just one story of what so many single mothers go through daily. I will be sharing that letter on my Facebook page (as soon as I have a moment to type it all out) instead of on here because of the length of it. If you can’t donate, we understand, please say a prayer or take a moment of silence for Becca, her boys and our family. Please share this that would be a big help and we will get information about her memorial service out as soon as we have it. Becca was also an organ donor and to honor her last heroic wish to give the gift of life to others in the event she could not live out her own, it has lengthened the amount of time we have to plan her memorial. Thank you for your kind attention and may God bless you and your families as well.
