Aid for Bridget, Kevin, and Copi's Loss from Eaton Fire

Donation protected

On January 8, 2025, the Eaton Fire in Altadena, California, sent embers of fire across local neighborhoods and changed lives. My sister and her family lost their home and art studio. They had evacuated to a friend's house and assumed they would be returning home after the smoke cleared. They left with only a few belongings they had packed the night before and a change of clothes. While insurance will cover some losses, there are immediate needs and items that will take longer to replace. As we know many of you want to help out, this page is created as a central place to go to help.

Thank you for thinking of Bridget Batch, Kevin Cooley, and their son Copi.

The photo above is a picture of their actual house in Altadena taken by Kevin Cooley. The original video and additional images of the fires can be found on https://www.instagram.com/kevincooley_/

All donations will be distributed directly to the family.

Fundraiser was created by Bridget Batch's sister, Becky Borsheim Mathson, who lives in Minnesota.
