Eaton Fire: Help Chynna, Shane, Josh, & Jenna Rebuild
Donation protected
UPDATE:
We are so overwhelmed by the amount of support we’ve received from family and friends from all over. Reaching our goal of $24k will allow us to safely secure temporary housing and help find us a new place to live. Any additional contributions will go towards furnishing, food, kitchenware, replacing our lost belongings. Thank you so much for your generosity. We are truly so blessed and grateful.
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
Our family has been deeply impacted by the Eaton Canyon wildfire that swept through Altadena, leaving Chynna & Shane, Josh & Jenna, and their beloved dogs, Tucker & Chewy, without their homes. Both of my siblings' families lost not only their houses but also, their most treasured belongings they have worked so hard for, cherished memories, and a sense of stability.
Embracing a new year, Chynna, Shane, and Josh first made the move to Altadena in December 2020, where they became enchanted by the city's charm and strong sense of community. Not long after, Josh and Jenna reached a beautiful milestone in their relationship when they moved into their very own place in Altadena in October 2022; their first home together that was just a short trek away from Chynna and Shane. Their homes quickly became a source of comfort and connection where family and friends were always welcomed with open arms. They hosted countless celebrations, milestones, and gatherings that brought people together and filled the walls with love, laughter, and joy.
Having just started a new chapter in their life, my sister and Shane being newlyweds this past year, my brother and Jenna building a life together in a new home, this fire has caused devastation and brought so many plans to a halt. As they navigate the shock and incredible loss, as well as the difficult journey of rebuilding, restoring and recovering, we ask for your support to help them, if only to ease up their burdens.
Funds raised will go directly towards the following:
• Temporary housing and relocation costs
• Basic necessities like clothing, food, and toiletries
• Replacing lost belongings
• Veterinary care and supplies for their dogs
• Beginning the long journey of rebuilding their homes
We have set a goal of $24,000 to cover their immediate needs and regain a sense of “normalcy” for them. Every single donation, no matter how small, brings them one step closer to building a new future.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, love, and support during this difficult time. Please keep our family and others who have been affected by the Los Angeles wildfires in your thoughts and prayers.
With heartfelt gratitude and love,
Cheyenne Canizares
