Help Support Gary Thomas’ – Medical Bills & Funeral Expenses

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out in a time of need to ask for your support for our beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, who is currently on life support. Gary has been battling heart disease for years. Just recently, he found his heart was only functioning at 18%, which caused other extreme symptoms: “dead leg” – his heart wasn’t pumping enough blood and oxygen to his extremities, causing his legs to turn a purple-ish black. His liver began to fail, and now his kidneys. Despite the best efforts of doctors and medical staff, his condition has taken a serious turn, and he is now on life support. At this point, we are trying to navigate the difficult process of preparing for what may come next.

As we face the heart-wrenching reality of this situation, and are reminded that he was not financially prepared for such events, we are asking for financial assistance to help cover medical expenses that continue to accumulate while he is in the hospital. In addition to his medical bills, we are also preparing for the need of funds for funeral arrangements, as we want to honor my Uncle Gary’s memory in the best way possible.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated and would help ease the burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time. We also ask that you keep Gary’s mom, June Wooten, and his children, Michelle & James, in your thoughts and prayers as they face a decision that will not be an easy one during this uncertain journey.
