Aid for Harvey Jackson's Family

The Jackson family has suffered a tragic loss of their patriarch Harvey Jackson who passed away on September 14, 2024. Harvey was a beloved Weaverville Elementary School (WES) employee for 32 years and member of the Nor Rel Muk Wintu Tribe. He was well known and loved by the community and countless past students from WES.

The unexpected passing has left the family in need of help to relieve some of the financial hardships they are facing. The funeral costs related to his death are a significant difficulty for the family. In addition, Harvey’s daughter and caregiver, Deanna, and granddaughter Sierra need to move out of his home and relocate with mounting associated costs.

This fundraiser for Deanna is set up by myself, Eric Peterson, and other friends of Deanna to support her and family with costs associated with her father Harvey's passing. I am a longtime Weaverville friend and work colleague of Deanna. Deanna and I were both raised in Weaverville, knew each other at WES and THS, and have worked together since 2009.
