Aid for Kar's Cats: Facing Eviction and Illness

My name is Kar, and this is my reality: a sick 13-year-old cat who has been my baby and emotional support since I was still a teenager living in an abusive household, 4 foster cats who were dumped on us by a previous tenant, a roommate and best friend who makes barely enough money to survive on but helps pay for my necessities as well due to my being disabled and unable to work (currently working on the arduous process of obtaining disability, which is more unstable than ever at the time of writing), and an apartment that has several issues with the lease coming to an end and a landlord who wants us gone. Said landlord is also friends with my friend's abusive ex.

Times are unbelievably hard for most people in the world right now, and we hold nothing but deep sympathies and care for others suffering. I understand that my cause may not be anything special to most people, but if there is a chance you have resources to spare, please consider us.

I need to get my precious senior, Niamh (pictured), to a vet. She has been increasingly losing weight and having digestive issues. She has been with me through so much trauma I have faced, and we are deeply bonded to each other. I am not ready to lose her... I lost about half of my family during the pandemic lockdown, and she is one of the few remaining pieces.

We need funds to care for my baby's medical expenses as well as move out of our current apartment before we are forced onto the streets. We have several places as options, but we lack the funds to make the actual move and rehome the 4 foster cats.

We are doing our best to keep everyone, including ourselves, fed and housed, but time is not on our side. If you can, please help. We are queer and disabled adults doing our best to survive on top of caring for cats forced upon us and my senior who urgently needs to see a vet. Even a single dollar helps.
