Aid for Khalid & Ahmed Family's Medical and Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Four months ago, the world lost Aliyah Khalid.
And in those first few days after the crash, you showed up. You poured your hearts into prayers, donations, and messages of love. You carried her family through the unthinkable.
But grief doesn’t end when the funeral does.
Love doesn’t stop at the grave.
And legacies don’t fade if we choose to keep them alive.
Today, we’re not just raising funds.
We’re raising a legacy.
A masjid. In Yemen.
In Aliyah’s name.
A space where hearts will kneel and eyes will weep in sujood.
Where children will learn the words of Allah.
Where hope will echo off the walls and into eternity.
This is not charity.
This is sadaqah jariyah.
This is love made permanent.
And if Allah allows, we’ll go even further—
a solar-powered well to quench the thirst of families who haven’t seen rain in months.
Let her name be the reason clean water flows in a land struck by famine and drought.
Aliyah was only 19.
But the light she carried—her gentleness, her faith, her compassion—it still glows.
And we are the keepers of that light now.
So we ask you—show up again.
Not just with your money, but with your hearts, your duas, your intention.
Share this. Tell someone. Remind them of the power of legacy.
Give something, anything, and let that act echo forever.
Let’s not just remember Aliyah.
Let’s raise her name in a house of worship.
Let’s etch her legacy in the soil of Yemen.
Let’s carry her light into the akhirah.
Let’s build something eternal.
Together.
For Aliyah.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.” (Qur’an 2:156)
Asalam alayakum warahmatuallahi wabarakatu everyone.
On the night of November 1st, 7 of our sisters were driving home after celebrating a Nikkah ceremony on October 31st in Plano, Texas. They were involved in a multiple vehicle car accident that severely injured 3, and claimed the life of 2 as of today. Aliyah Khalid was among the deceased.
Aliyah Abdurahman Khalid (19) and her family were visiting Dallas Texas for a relatives Nikkah when she got into a devastating car crash that lead to her death.
In the car with her were her sisters, Nadira Khalid (14), and Hadiya Khalid (17), as well as Simale Ahmed (15). Alhamdulillah Nadira made it out of the car safely but is suffering emotionally from the loss of her older sister, Simale and Hadiya are both undergoing surgeries, but stable for now.
Aliyah is survived by her parents, Eman Abdurahman and Khalid Khaya three sisters, two of which were in the horrific accident with her, and three brothers. Aliyah was such a beautiful, and gentle soul who embodied kindness, compassion, and faith. She was set to graduate college in 2 years. Everyone who had the honor of knowing Aliyah loved her and she has now returned to our Creator, Allah (swt). As we navigate this difficult time, we are seeking support to honor her memory by covering funeral expenses and providing comfort and financial assistance for the others involved in the fatal car crash.
All the money donated will go towards medical costs for Hadiya Khalid, Simale Ahmed, and Aliyah’s burial costs and the transport of her body from Dallas, TX to Nashville, TN where 4/7 of the young girls are from. This is also where Aliyah’s burial and janazah will be held. We ask you to please donate what you can and make continuous duas for our dear sister.
In Islam, charity given on behalf of a loved one is a continuous blessing for them (sadaqah jariyah). Any contribution you make will not only help her family in this time of need but will serve as a source of ongoing reward for our sister, Insha’Allah.
May Allah grant Aliyah the highest level of Jannah, forgive her, and grant her family patience and ease. Ameen.
May Allah grant healing, strength, and comfort to the surviving girls and their families. Ameen.
We ask Allah to ease their pain, grant them patience in this difficult time, and surround them with love and support. May He bring peace to their hearts, protect them from further harm, and bless them with a full recovery. Ameen
All funds will be divided between the Khalid and Ahmed families to support the victims: Aliyah Khalid, Hadiya Khalid, Nadira Khalid, and Simale Ahmed. The funds will be split evenly between the two families, with the Khalid family receiving 3/4 of the total, and the Ahmed family receiving 1/4.
Thank you all for your support, your prayers, and your kindness.
