Aid for Kirby Family: Total Loss from House Fire

The Kirby family lost their home and worldly possessions in an overnight house fire this week. Thankfully, everyone got out safely and weren’t physically injured. Their home and contents were total losses.

The family had recently relocated from Salmon, Idaho to near Custer, Montana where Chris accepted an exciting, ranch job opportunity. They are a rural, ranch family of ten, with their two oldest kids away at college.

Chris and Sara are holding their other six kiddos, aged 3 to 16, tightly as they say prayers of thankfulness that all lives were spared. They are exhausted, overwhelmed and in shock but, as always, their faith in God’s greater plan is strong.

They are squared away with temporary housing. As they grieve and process their new reality, they are taking some time to be together as a family and make a plan for how to move forward. Most importantly they will be able to worship and celebrate Christmas all together as a family!

At this time, financial donations are most helpful to support their recovery process. Anyone who knows this family knows they are salt of the earth folks! Let’s show them how very loved they are!
