Aid for Lacey: Facing Loss and Challenges

Life has changed forever for Lacey and her sons, Angelo and Americo, after the heartbreaking and sudden loss of beloved husband and father Benjamin Carpineta on March 30th, 2025.

Ben’s absence is a true tragedy felt by many and as Lacey navigates this devastating time, she is also facing overwhelming financial burdens—funeral expenses, loss of work, loss of his income and and the ongoing costs of life and caring for her profoundly disabled child, Americo.

On top of everything, their new home is in need of urgent repairs to be safe and livable. From fixing essential utilities to making the home more accessible for Americo, the expenses keep piling up. Benjamin was a great provider not only financially, but also in matters of ability; they had purchased their home with the confidence that Ben’s skills, knowledge and drive would enable him to do the majority of home remodel himself. Now, with his passing it is left to Lacey to face without her partner.

Lacey has always been a loving, devoted mother, and wife doing everything she can to provide for her family. She is one of the most exceptionally kind, genuine and nurturing people I have ever known and this is all truly heartbreaking.
