Aid for Marcy: A Veteran and Single Mom in a Hard Time

My name is Victoria and I am here to introduce you to a good friend who needs our help.

In the beginning of February, Marcy Kennan, a Veteran and Single Mom, fell on ice in her driveway and injured her back. After going to the doctor, X-rays revealed 2 fractures and 2 discs showing significant compression damage, which in turn has caused her sciatic nerve to be pinched. Standing for more than a few minutes is extremely painful, making everyday tasks difficult. She is currently awaiting an MRI, and further treatment or surgery is yet to be determined.

Due to her condition, she has had to take a medical leave of absence from work without pay. This has caused a financial strain for an already struggling single mother.
