Napili Kai Employees Fire Aid

Thank you everyone who has contributed (and to those still contributing) - your generosity is overwhelming and greatly appreciated! This fund was developed by the Napili Kai Ltd. Board of Directors at the request of the Napili Kai Shareholders and Condo Owners and is being managed by John Felts, Chairman of the Board of Napili Kai Ltd. to support Napili Kai Employee's who have been directly impacted by the Lahaina fire(s). As you probably know by now, there were devastating fires in Maui that started on or around 8 August 2023, mainly in Lahaina, that have reduced most of the town to ash and caused a large number of casualties. Napili Kai and the surrounding area was not impacted by the fires, however some of our employees have lost their homes. The Board of Directors has created this GoFundMe fund to provide a vehicle for individuals to donate directly to help our employees impacted by the fires rebuild their life and purchase any supplies, clothing or other articles lost in the fire and/or to offset any costs not covered by insurance, FEMA or other government subsidies to rebuild their homes. The funds can also be used to pay for interim housing costs. We are still waiting for a full assessment of how many have been impacted, but we know of at least 2 individuals who have lost everything. The funds raised here will be given directly to the Napili Kai Employee's who have lost their homes in the fires. In the event that funds cannot be directly transferred (due to continuing internet/communication issues) to an impacted employee, the funds will be transferred to the Napili Kai Ltd. bank account and a check will be issued in the name of the employee.
