Aid for Nepal Earthquake Victims

Dear everyone, dear supporters,

When disaster strikes, we need to unite to make a difference. On the 3rd of November 2023, Nepal was hit by a devastating earthquake that left countless families in ruins. But amidst the rubble, there's a resilient spirit that refuses to be broken. This is our opportunity to help rebuild hope and homes. Your contribution will make sure that 70 households/350 individuals have a tent, blankets, clean drinking water, food and medical assistance!

We would like to share the urgent situation that has arisen after a devastating earthquake in Nepal. The epicentre of the earthquake on the 3rd of November was at Ramidanda in Jajarkot district, about 550 km from Kathmandu, the tremors of which were also felt in New Delhi and parts of north India too. This earthquake has disrupted many individual lives and wiped out entire villages. Homes have been destroyed, infrastructure has been demolished, and entire communities face an immense task of rebuilding. Earthquake victims are left homeless and forced to live in tents outside the rubble.The massive destruction caused by Earthquakes also results in the loss of hundreds of lives in Jajarkot and Rukum districts.

We believe in the power of people coming together to support one another in times of need, and we need your help to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by this natural disaster. Join us in our mission to provide help to those in need and to rebuild the affected regions in Nepal.

We (Stichting Nepal) are on the ground to support the initial relief efforts. The relief effort is divided into two crucial phases:

Phase 1 - Immediate Aid: This includes providing clean drinking water, food, tents, blankets, and medical assistance to those who need it the most. We have a target of providing help to 70 households/350 individuals. Every moment counts, and we need a minimum of €5,000 to provide this emergency aid.

Phase 2 - Reconstruction: After providing immediate aid, we continue with the reconstruction of the affected communities. This involves rebuilding homes, schools, and essential infrastructure, and assisting the population in rebuilding their lives.

Every euro/dollar/pound etc. makes a difference. Your support, no matter the amount, will directly contribute to rebuilding Nepal and helping the earthquake-affected families.

Als een ramp toeslaat, moeten we samenwerken om het verschil te maken. Op 3 november 2023 werd Nepal getroffen door een verwoestende aardbeving die talloze families in puin achterliet. Wij geloven in de kracht van mensen die samenkomen om elkaar te ondersteunen in tijden van nood, en we hebben uw hulp nodig om een positieve impact te hebben op de levens van degenen die zijn getroffen door deze natuurramp. Doe met ons mee in onze missie om hulp te bieden aan degenen in nood en de getroffen regio's in Nepal opnieuw op te bouwen. Uw bijdrage zal ervoor zorgen dat 70 huishoudens/350 individuen een tent, dekens, schoon drinkwater, voedsel en medische hulp krijgen!

Wij willen graag de dringende situatie delen die is ontstaan na een verwoestende aardbeving in Nepal. Het epicentrum van de aardbeving op vrijdag 3 november bevond zich in Ramidanda in het district Jajarkot, op ongeveer 550 km van Kathmandu. De schokken werden ook gevoeld in New Delhi en delen van noord-India. Deze aardbeving heeft het leven van veel individuen ontwricht en hele dorpen weggevaagd. Huizen zijn vernietigd, infrastructuur is verwoest, en hele gemeenschappen staan voor een enorme taak om opnieuw op te bouwen. Slachtoffers van de aardbeving zijn dakloos en gedwongen om buiten in tenten te leven naast het puin. De massale vernietiging als gevolg van de aardbeving heeft ook geleid tot het verlies van honderden levens in de districten Jajarkot en Rukum.

Wij (Stichting Nepal) zijn ter plaatse om de initiële hulp te ondersteunen. De hulpinspanning is verdeeld in twee cruciale fasen:

Fase 1 - Directe Noodhulp: Dit omvat de verstrekking van schoon drinkwater, voedsel, tenten, dekens en medische hulp aan degenen die het het hardst nodig hebben. Ons doel is om hulp te bieden aan 70 huishoudens/350 individuen. Elk moment telt, en we hebben minimaal €5.000 nodig om deze noodhulp te kunnen bieden.

Fase 2 - Wederopbouw: Na het verlenen van directe noodhulp gaan we door met de wederopbouw van de getroffen gemeenschappen. Dit omvat het herstellen van huizen, scholen en essentiële infrastructuur, en het ondersteunen van de bevolking om hun leven weer op te bouwen.

Elke euro/dollar/pound enz. maakt een verschil. Uw steun, ongeacht het bedrag, zal rechtstreeks bijdragen aan de wederopbouw van Nepal en het helpen van gezinnen die zijn getroffen door de aardbeving.
