Aid for Oralia and Kids After WildFire Tragedy
Donation protected

Hello,
My name is Yehira Martinez and I’m from Whittier CA. I am sharing this story in hopes of getting some help for someone in our family who lost everything in the Altadena Fire. Oralia Salgado is my husband’s cousin. She is a hard working single mom of 2 kids, Amor & Rakso. She was working as a caregiver and babysitter whom also provided her housing situation so she has possibly lost her job for the time being and all of the few belongings she had. They only had a few minutes to gather the essentials and get out of there before it was too late. Not only did she lose her home but most of the city burnt down including her kid’s school. She’s currently staying at a friend’s house but her and the kids are devastated because that home was their happy place and their comfort.
We are hoping these donations, big or small, can help them get back on their feet and get the necessary supplies to live day by day while they come up with a plan. The funds will go towards temporary needs like food, clothing, stuff for the kids, and basically anything they need to start their life over. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid. They are so grateful for all the support…Thank you!
