Hello, my name is Mark Redmond. I am here to talk to you about my friend Paul Mwangi from Meru County, Kenya.

I connected with Paul over Instagram, and we got in talks to start a home church in Kenya for him and his family to inspire others. I’ll lay out some background about Paul so you will understand how influential and hardworking he is:

Paul Mwangi grew up in a poor neighborhood in Meru County, Kenya. Paul was inspired by a DJ set he saw in Mangieri to become a DJ himself, but without funds he had few options. As a man who knew how to fix radios, he used his knowledge to create his own DJ deck shown in the picture here. Videos of DJ BoBoss went viral after people saw the amazing sounds he made with his homemade deck.

In February of 2023, Paul was diagnosed with a medical issue. Paul’s poor health is making him unable to keep playing music and merchandising which has become his two main sources of income.
