Aid for Peltier Family After Sudden Loss
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Diane Ragland. I’m raising money for a dear neighbor of mine, Deborah Peltier. I’m asking for help for the Peltier & Lucas family. On July 16th, Deborah, her daughter Whitney, and the grandchildren set out to Raleigh to do school shopping. On July 17, Deborah passed out and her daughter found her unresponsive, so they called 911 and they took her to Wake Forest Hospital.
Her diagnosis was not good. She had had a massive stroke. She has been on life-support since they could not keep her blood pressure up and her breathing where they wanted it. The doctors told her husband, Rich Peltier, that the stroke caused her to have permanent brain damage on her right side. As a day went on, she got pneumonia in her lungs. She cannot breathe on her own. She is paralyzed from the stroke, they have her heavily sedated and she has fluid on her brain now.
So the doctor told the family to get their affairs in order and the doctors said that there was not much more they could do. They have tried all that they could. It was her wishes that she did not want to live this way. Her husband Rich, her daughter Whitney, and the grandchildren have said their goodbyes, so very sad. She is only 53 years old. As of today, July 27, 2024, she has gone with the Lord. She gained her angel wings.
I am asking for all your prayers for the family for the medical bills, not including the bills that they have at home. They are all just devastated because this was so sudden. Any donation would be appreciated. She’s so young and she was such an amazing loving person. She would help you in any way that she could. Three years ago when I met her, she welcomed my brother and I with open arms into the neighborhood and we have been friends since.
I thank you in advance for all your prayers and for anything that you can do to help them financially would be so much appreciated. Please continue to pray for her husband, daughter, and grandchildren for they are devastated that this has happened to one of their loved ones. God bless and thank you for any donations to help this family get back on their feet.
