Help Rebuild My Parents’ Life After the Eaton Fires
On the morning of January 7th, 2025, my parents’ lives were turned upside down in a matter of moments. Around 3:30 am, they were woken up to the smell of smoke and the terrifying sight of embers flying outside their windows. Within minutes, the raging fires were too close for comfort, and they had no choice but to evacuate—leaving behind everything, except their dogs and the clothes on their backs.
For the past 33 years, my parents have called this house their home. It is where they raised us, where I got married, and where all our childhood memories were made. The house was more than just a place—it was a foundation for our family’s history. Sadly, now, it’s nothing but ash and rubble.
My parents are retired and live on a fixed income, making this disaster even more devastating. They never expected to face such a loss at this stage in their lives. Right now, they are dealing with the heartbreak of losing their home, as well as the overwhelming task of starting over with very little.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers who can help my parents rebuild their lives. The funds raised here will go toward purchasing basic necessities like clothing, toiletries, food, and essential items as they navigate this difficult time. Every dollar will go directly to helping them recover from this unimaginable loss and get back on their feet.
This has been an emotional and challenging time for them, and any amount you can contribute—whether big or small—will be deeply appreciated. Your support means the world to us, and it will make a significant difference as my parents work toward rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
Thank you so much for your generosity, love, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness is a beacon of hope as my parents move forward.
