Aid For Refugees & Ukraine Hospital

Edit: When I set off on this mission and put this up some time ago I had no idea where it would lead. Now I'm involved in so many aspects helping the refugees, hospitals with medical supplies and IDPs (internally displaced people), creating links across the border,  sharing info and providing assistance in so many ways. I don't see how I could have done so much without the financial support here and moral support and encouragement from so many different directions.

Today, I am leaving the UK to deliver medical supplies for a hospital in Ukraine as they are running out of many basic supplies. My friend Olha is a doctor there, and she and her colleagues are pleading for help!

After dropping off the supplies (which include bandages, splints, canulas, syringes, wound packs, burns packs, trauma kits and even two stretchers), I will return to the border to collect some refugees and house them. I should be able to take 2 or 3 families.

The driving costs from the UK are approx. £500 each way.

My house is 2hr 45m from the border, where I will need to make several return trips to pick up refugees costing around £80 per trip.

I will be covering the costs for housing them, food and utilities, so all contributions will go directly to helping the injured Ukrainians and refugees.

Whatever you can give, large or small, will make a difference.

Edit... Increased the target as I'd underestimated the generosity however not the importance and need. 

Update... Hoping to get through the border tomorrow morning and deliver the first load direct from the UK.
