Aid for Sandy Herring Recovering from barn fire

We call upon your kindness and generosity today for a cause that has left us heartbroken and hopeful at the same time. Our dear friend, Sandy Herring, a hardworking, dedicated family woman, and a pillar of our rural community, has unfortunately lost everything in a sudden and devastating barn fire that also claimed the life of a horse with one still remaing missing.

On September 18 2023, tragedy struck when the barn, a significant component of Sandy's livelihood, was consumed by a colossal fire. Not only did Sandy lose her hard-earned possessions and home– but she also sustained severe injuries while trying desperately to save the horses that she cared so well for.

Sandy is currently in critical care, fighting bravely for her life in hospital. While she battles against these odds physically, the financial burden will continues to mount, making it difficult for her and her family to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Our friend now faces an uphill financial battle - Rebuilding the barn and providing the for the loss of income that came from running a boarding facility. This is why we have set up this GoFundMe page to help Sandy and her family during this challenging and grief-stricken time.

We understand that times are tough for everyone due to the current global situation, which makes us appreciate any donation, no matter how small, even more. Every bit counts and will be directed towards paying to rebuilding the barn, a part of life inherently precious and crucial for our friend's recovery and existence.
