Aid for the Curtis Family: Fire Destroys Beloved Home
Donation protected
It’s with great sorrow I’m writing this but due to the unprecedented Eaton Canyon Fires my Los Angeles home is gone.
My beloved aunt Midge Curtis has lived at 6037 Via Maderes st in Alta Dena for 67 years and now the neighborhood has been leveled and ravaged by fire. They have lost everything.

My Aunt Midge and Uncle Hank created a beautiful home together to raise their wonderful sons, Hank Jr and Dwayne.

They also let their home become the center of our typically East Coast family on the West Coast. Anyone in our family who suddenly moved to the West Coast was welcomed with opened arms and really amazing food. I, her great niece am the most recent of these guests. I moved to Los Angeles 4 years ago as a young adult in a huge new city and the love and support from my Aunt, Uncle, and cousin Hank is what has kept me going. I have spent every holiday and many a Sunday night dinner playing dice and laughing with my family.

We lost our Uncle Hank just a few months ago and this second tragedy is truly unthinkable.

Please donate and share this post to help my family get thought these devastating times as we move forward together.
The money will go to housing and essentials for my aunt and cousin while they navigate the next steps thank you!
