Support for Twins' NICU Stay and Mother's Recovery

August 6th 2024, My sister who was 21 weeks pregnant was driving on her way to work when she was rear ended by a jeep truck, sandwiched by other cars, spun in a ditch and knocked unconscious sending her into preterm labor.

She suffered a concussion and a hematoma to the right side of her face and was on bed rest in the hospital for 2 weeks before having to have an emergency c section to have her twin baby girls at 23 weeks and 1 day because their umbilical cord was trying to deliver before them which would have resulted in a cut off in oxygen and blood flow to the babies.

After a week of having an emergency c section, my sister was discharged from the hospital but her twin baby girls are still in the NICU and will be there for some months. They currently have my sister staying in the Ronald McDonald house, across the street from the hospital of where her babies are at, which is an hour and 30 minutes from their home town, resulting in her not being able to work during this time.

This incident resulted in a loss of a car, job and put her life and babies lives at risk. I’m asking during this time to donate anything that you can to help her during this difficult time. Anything helps, even if it’s just prayer!
