Aid for Victims of Sri Lanka Easter Attacks

On a day when we are supposed to be celebrating life and rebirth with our families, we instead woke up to the news of over 200 people killed in blasts at churches and hotels in Sri Lanka. It’s been ten years of relative calm after the civil war ended and now friends and family there are shaken from what happened today and what is still possible in a country that knows terror too well.
My sister and I were born there but grew up in the US, but that doesn’t mean all this doesn’t hurt. We ache for the families that have to bury their loved ones and tend to those who are injured for life.
All religions are important. All lives are precious. Regardless of the faith practices of those affected this attack, we want to help, especially the children who were left motherless or fatherless because of today's devastating losses.
Sri Lanka not a wealthy country by any means so a little goes a long way. To give you a sense of the impact you could make, a meal costs between $1-2 USD. Every single dollar will help and we sincerely thank you in advance for your generosity of spirit and contribution to help those in need.
We are partnering with our cousin in Sri Lanka to provide aid to the families of those affected by this tragedy and are asking our network of amazing and supportive friends to help us contribute in any way possible, small or large. By working with our family, we know that all of our donations will go to those in need.
