Aid for Violeta's Family and Prayer Community

Violeta S. Casquejo passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home in St. Clair Shores at the age of 88. Violeta was born in Manila, in the Republic of the Philippines on September 30, 1936 to Jose Luis and Encarnacion Serrano. She is the beloved wife of the late Wilfredo. Loving mother of Maricelle Thomas, Cheryl (Steven Adcock) Casquejo, and Chris Casquejo. Dearest sister of Luis Serrano and the late Rosa Maria Rosaria Serrano, the late Maria Luisa Beatriz Serrano, and the late Rose Marie Josephine Serrano. Visitation Friday, December 6 from 2-8 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 11470 13 Mile Road (w. of Hoover Rd), Warren, Michigan. Instate Saturday, December 7 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 28301 Little Mack Road (s. of Martin), St. Clair Shores. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help defray funeral costs and to make a donation to her beloved prayer group, Joy of the Lord.
