Aid Gina's Healing and Honor Nelu's Memory

Dear Friends and Family,

It is heartbreaking to share the news about a tragic accident involving Nelu Marica and his wife, Gina. On Sunday, Aug 4, 2024, while on their way home, they were involved in a collision with a semi-truck. It was the last time they would be together.

Gina was in a coma and spent one month in the ICU undergoing multiple surgeries. Tragically, Nelu did not survive the accident.

Nelu and Gina were truly a happy and inseparable couple. They shared a deep bond not just as perfect soulmates but they were best friends who loved traveling together and found joy in the simplest moments. They were each other’s world and had envisioned a future of retiring in Romania. Sadly, that dream is left unfulfilled.

If you knew Nelu, you’d recognize him as a dedicated, hardworking family man. He was a loving husband and an exceptional father to his two children, Bogdan and Bogdana.

Nelu had this gift for turning the simplest of things into something extraordinary, creating a loving and secure world for his family. Gina is a fighter at heart. She is resilient and always finds a way through, even at the toughest times like right now.

She is showing incredible strength as she fights her way to recover. Her journey will be long and challenging. During this difficult time, the outpouring of love and support from friends and family has been a source of strength for the Marica family.
