Aid Harley's Health Amid Owner's Recovery
Donation protected
I have tried doing this GoFundMe about a month ago. Wow, things change fast. Back in January of this year, I had a serious fall at my place of employment at a local horse farm. I poured my life into it for 7 years. The fall left me seriously injured with a head injury and crushed shoulder, both requiring surgery. I had no workers' comp and have been out of work for months. Lots of doctor appointments and now starting physical therapy on my shoulder replacement. Recovery is very slow, and there's no telling where my future job will be.
My original GoFundMe was in deep concern for my two senior dogs receiving ongoing vet care with my funds now fading fast without working. Well, add insult to injury, my one dog passed from heart failure about two weeks ago, causing me one more loss to deal with. My remaining dog, Harley, who is the focus of this GoFundMe, is left. At 16 years old, he has expensive vet bills. Cushing's, tracheal collapse, atopic dermatitis, IVDD—to say the least, he has monthly vet visits that are costly, including the meds he takes on a regular basis. I am planning on returning to a job, but until I can, I'm looking for temporary funds to tide us over. So that's what this campaign is all about.
People don't like to donate anymore because there are so many scams out there, which makes it hard for those needing it to fundraise for any cause. I also realize that money is scarce for everyone as well. I'm not looking for anyone's last dollar, and I'm so not scamming anyone. I'm emotionally and physically drained . Even $10 - $20 can help at a time like this. I live alone, have no family or resources, and my Harley is all I have now. Hard to imagine how much we can all lose in a short amount of time.
So, if you can't donate, please help me share. It would mean so much to me and my Harley. God bless you all.
