Aid Heather's Recovery from Flood Destruction

Hello, I am Aurora. I’ve lived in Frankfort for over 10 years now. I’ve grown up here, and what is happening here is absolutely heartbreaking. As I’m writing this, I am in tears because my aunt, who lives on Big Eddy Rd (Heather Mammen), is about to lose everything just like so many people. Her house is completely flooded, and her and her family's whole life is in that house. She is such a wonderful person and has helped so many people. She is the owner of GlownGrow, a God-based company that has helped and changed the lives of so many people. She has already been through so much. Her daughter Elaina was murdered, which took a massive emotional and financial toll on her and her family, and last week her ex-husband and father to her daughters passed away unexpectedly, which has added to the emotional and financial drain. And now this, her entire home and life is covered in water. She has flood insurance but couldn’t afford insurance for her belongings. She is struggling right now and faced with a new battle of emotional and financial turmoil. The water has reached the second floor, as you can see in one of the photos. She is safe, and her animals are safe, but all of her belongings and memories are in her house. The floodwaters have taken lives, homes, pets, cars, etc. It is destroying our community.

I can’t stop thinking, “What if it were my family or my home?” That’s why I am making this GoFundMe in hopes to be able to help her and try to love like God tells us to love and remember Matthew 7:12, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you."
