This will be the last edit. Tammy passed away Saturday, Oct 26th. She went fairly quickly and seemed comfortable and at peace.

Update on Tammy; her brain trauma is so severe her quality of life will be low.

It has been decided to make her as comfortable as possible for the remainder of her life. At this time, we're unsure when life support will be removed due to her being an organ donor.

Hello. We are raising money for my sister.

She and our mom were in a serious car accident on October 16th. They were both air lifted to UVA and admitted to ICU. Fortunately, we were able to bring mom home a few days later, but Tammy hasn't been so fortunate.

Tammy is in a coma with severe brain damage. There are multiple places on her brain bleeding. We don't know what that means for her future at the moment. We just have to wait for her to wake up and see how her body heals itself.

She is the grandmother of two, with a third on the way, and a mother of two children.

Any help will be appreciated. Your donation will go directly to her children (who are making all the financial and medical decisions for Tammy until she is able to do so for herself again.) The funds will help them keep her current finances up-to-date and to help with any medical bills and medication insurance doesn't cover. As well as any therapy and in home care she may need afterwards.
