Aid in Unforeseen Medical Expenses

WOW! Today, I turned 50 years old (January 26, 1973)! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. 2022 has been one of the most challenging years, health-wise, and it wasn't how I saw myself bringing in such a monumental birth ago.

The summer of 2022 (May) started with fluid on my right lung to now discovering a tumor on my right lung has metastasized from the right side of my chest cavity, now causing moments of rapid heartbeats to minimal breathing since my right lung is temporarily only using 5-10 % of its capacity. The tumor causes a lot of lack of sleep and pain.

This treatment process seems scarier than before because I'm now dealing with tissue samples and organs. The next six months will be the ultimate test. I will use this time to work solely with my doctor and his team during my healing process and to keep my stress levels to a minimum.

My left lung is working overtime, which varies from time to time. Going to the kitchen and the bathroom is another story. I have oxygen at home and will soon have a backpack version to travel to the doctor and out and about.

If you've followed my journey over the last 10+ years, you know I lost my entire right hip/leg due to chondrosarcoma). The same chondrosarcoma (cancer) that caused me to lose my leg is now attacking my right lung. :^(

I live alone. This results in me doing a lot of day-to-day by myself.

I intend to use the donations for food delivery, transportation to doctor's appointments, blood work, out-of-pocket co-pays, and medicines/treatments NOT covered under my insurance, and flying a family member into Los Angeles to assist in cooking, cleaning, and making it to my appointments on time weekly, so much more.

I will be starting an immunotherapy clinical trial in 2-3 weeks and don't know how I will feel after the treatments and how long they will last. I want to cover my basis before we start. I pray to see positive results within 90 days of my IV treatments.
