Aid Jenny Westphal's Journey to Full Recovery

Hello, I am Carrie(Malueg) Kapusta-Kriel sister of Jenny (Malueg) Westphal of Antigo, WI. I’m trying to raise money for my sister who recently went to the hospital on July 8th 2024 to tumor removed from her kidney. However there was complications and the surgical team thought it best to remove the entire kidney. She has been struggling with fevers and breathing issues. She has along way to recover. Jenny has always been a hard worker and has never complained about what life has handed her… She is very stoic to say the least and would be upset and grateful at the same time if she knew I set this fund up for her.

Jenny, is the type of person that asks for nothing and will give you what she has left even if that means leaving herself in the red.. She a restaurant/service employee.. If you have ever experienced her bake goods at Gunkel’s Bakery or Dixie Lunch Restaurant you have experienced the love she puts into everything! Her greatest treasures are her Daughter Brandee Malueg and both her grandchildren Ellee and Elsie Malueg . Jenny will be unable to work or have any kind of income for the next 4-6 months depending on her recovery time.

Shes had to give up her apartment and move in with our elderly parents during her recovery period .

Thank You and my God bless you. My sister is now out of the hospital and she appears to be doing OK. Here is in lies. The problem lack of funds is forcing her to go back to work. She is not recommended to go back to work for at least three months. Let me remind you, she had a kidney removed and a double hernia repaired. She works in the restaurant/sales Career . Five dollars would go along way. In the short time, she has lost her apartment, has no income coming in. Social services will not help so I’m asking out of the goodness of your heart.
