Aid John's Fight After Being Hit by Drunk Driver

Donation protected
Hello, this GoFundMe is being created to help with medical expenses for my nephew John Aggson (son of Ginger Aggson and Michael Eslinger). Last week, he was hit by a drunk driver while riding his motorcycle and has suffered devastating injuries. His wrist, hip, and pelvis were broken. He also suffered a brain bleed that is now under control. The driver was in a Chevy Tahoe and does not have a driver's license. He has already undergone multiple surgeries and remains intubated in the ICU. He has also developed complications with his blood pressure and heart rate, as well as fevers that are hard to control. The bills for his care will be extensive. In addition to this, his mother has had to take off work to be with him; this lack of income will create more issues for them than they are already facing.

Those of you who know John know that this is not the first time he has been hit while riding. He is strong and he continues to fight. If you can help in the fight, please contribute, even if it is a small amount. If you cannot afford to help financially, please pray for him and our family and SHARE, SHARE, SHARE this page.

If you are still reading this far, thank you so much. I will try and update as I hear more about his progress.

Update from John's mother, Ginger:
Asking for prayers - he is still continuing to have hallucinations due to postoperative delirium.

They aren’t sure if it’s also related to his brain injury or not, still having trouble regulating fever, heart rate, temp and they are keeping his neck collar on because he had pain in his cervical vertebrae upon palpating.

He is also having trouble sleeping and relaxing from all the PTSD anxiety and pain.

This is the first time he has been able to verbalize what all pain he has so they are accessing for injury’s not initially found during triage.

So please have people pray for him to have peace and calm, rest and healing and for the Drs and nurses to be able to find what meds work to control his other issues as well as any underlying injuries we don’t know about yet.

Update on John, paraphrased from what his mother has told me: He is still in ICU but improving. He still has postoperative delirium but now this many days out they are wondering if it may be due to the brain bleed that's still healing.
He is awake, talking (I got to video chat with him!), and eating but still needs our prayers. Again, thank you all so much for all of your prayers, shares and donations! Also, I try to update the go fund me page nightly!

Apologies for the delay in updates. John was transferred out of the ICU today!!! He has come so far from just a week ago and we are thanking God that he is still with us. He learned how to use a wheelchair today, so we are making progress! Please continue praying for him. Thank you all so much for your support and prayers.

I have been able to visit John a few times this past week. He is often sleepy and tired, but he did manage to crack some jokes! He has come so far, but he still has so, so far to go. Please continue to pray for him as he starts the recovery process.
