Aid Joshua's Fight for Health and Security

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Stephanie, and I am hoping to collect donations from anyone who may be able to help my longtime family friend, Angela, and her family after the horrific events that took place.

On November 30, 2024, 18-year-old Joshua Eberly bravely tried to protect his mother’s home during a terrifying robbery. In the process, he was shot three times, sustaining life-threatening injuries. Joshua lost a kidney, suffered lacerations to his liver, and endured spinal damage that has left him uncertain if he will walk again. To make matters worse, the shooter is still on the run, making it critical for Joshua to relocate to a safer environment as soon as possible.

Joshua is a resilient and courageous young man who has always put others first. Prior to this devastating event, he was in excellent health, excelling as a talented athlete and preparing to enlist in the U.S. Army after graduating high school. Tragically, those dreams were derailed when an intruder broke into his mother’s home on November 30. His mother, a single-income provider, now faces unimaginable challenges as she supports Joshua’s recovery and works to relocate her family to safety.

In a heroic attempt to protect his family and belongings, Joshua was shot three times, leaving him with devastating injuries:
    •    The loss of a kidney.
    •    Severe lacerations to his liver.
    •    Spinal damage that threatens his ability to walk.

Thanks to the quick actions of first responders and skilled medical teams, Joshua survived. However, the shooter remains at large, and Joshua’s recovery is overshadowed by the urgent need for safety and stability. His injuries require extensive medical care and rehabilitation, while his family faces the pressing challenge of relocating him to a secure home. Joshua’s younger brother was also present at the home during the invasion and will need extensive therapy.

Anyone who knows Joshua knows that he will fight hard to recover. His determination and courage inspire everyone around him, but he and his mother cannot face this journey alone.

All funds raised will be used to help Joshua and his family with:
    •    Medical expenses, including surgeries, spinal rehabilitation, and physical therapy.
    •    Relocating to a safer home where Joshua and his mother can recover without fear.
    •    Accessible equipment to support his mobility during recovery.
    •    Replacing stolen items and covering immediate living expenses.

Joshua’s bravery and determination are unwavering, but he needs your help to heal, feel secure, and start rebuilding his life.

We’re asking for your help to support Joshua during this incredibly challenging time. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring him closer to recovery and safety. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign will help us reach others who can make a difference.

Thank you for showing Joshua and his family that they are not alone in this fight. Your generosity and kindness will help them heal, relocate, and work toward reclaiming their dreams. Together, we can help Joshua find hope and a fresh start.
