Assist Lee Alliston's Family During Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
It’s with a heavy heart that I’m creating this page on behalf of one of my dearest friends, Leslie Alliston, after the loss of her husband of 39 years, Lee. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community at this time of heartbreak. Lee Alliston was a loving husband and father to his wife Leslie and daughters Kylie and Shelly. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor. Please help raise funds for Lee's widow Leslie to cover funeral expenses, medical bills, necessities, loss of income, and other costs to get through this difficult time.
Lee passed away on November 6, 2024, after a battle with several health issues that started in 2016, including 5 strokes, Afib, and open-heart surgery. During this time, Lee and Leslie lost Lee's income because he became 100 percent disabled. In February 2024, Leslie was laid off and lost their health and life insurance. Lee has been in the hospital 6 different times in the last year, making his medical bills substantial.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing them both knew their love was deep and strong. Even though they went to high school together, they didn't start dating until college. They were married for 39 years and had a wonderful life and beautiful family together.
As one could imagine, this has been incredibly hard, both physically and mentally, for Leslie and their children. Between medical bills, the cost of living, and being limited to one part-time income due to Leslie being the primary caregiver for Lee, the financial burden has become great.
Lee’s memorial will be on Saturday, November 23rd, at the Conyers First United Methodist Church on Main Street in Conyers. Visitation will be from 1-2, and the memorial service will begin at 2 pm.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting Lee's widow during this challenging time. If you are not in a financial position to donate, please consider reposting/sharing this link.
On behalf of Lee's family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
