Aid Lupita's Journey to Full Recovery

Family, friends, and community,

Our mother, Maria Guadalupe Perez (Lupita to most), had an unfortunate accident this last Thursday night while out of the country in her beloved Mexico. She had a terrible fall outside her sisters house in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. She had emergency major surgery on both wrists and one knee, along with pretty bad bruising to the face. We want to thank God, the outpouring support & prayers from all, her sister Dolores & family, and Dr. Felipe De Jesus Romo (her nephew) who acted quickly to get her the care she needed. Being so far from home, has added to the complexity of the situation. Costs have added up pretty quickly and more will come with caretaker needs and follow up appointments/therapy. The plan is for her to stay in Jalisco for 2 weeks and then get cleared to fly home to the Central Valley.

She has given her whole life, unconditionally and without complaint. To God, to her church, kids, grandkids, parents, siblings, godchildren, nieces, nephews, and community.

As much as she has given, she is now in need of our support. We are humbly asking (only if possible), for donations from our family, friends, and community members. She is the smartest & strongest person we know. With God, we know she will overcome this. We thank you, we miss you all, and God bless.
