Aid Mama's Fight for Health

first and foremost, I have blocked our any information as well as my mom's face, because no one needs to see her like that and I feel that that should be her decsion.

My mama is very sick... She hasn't been properly cared for over the past 2 or so years and especially in the last 5 months... I have so much to say but I will leave it here....

My mama isn't doing good, she's on 4 different life supports. In the past year and a half, she has dropped from 280 pounds to 145 lbs. At UNC Health (Grace), she had to have 18 units of blood/plasma from a GI bleed in her stomach. She was pooping and coughing up units after units of blood. We got her transferred to Charlotte as soon as possibly able. And when she got there, they took her in and did a procedure to stop the bleeding in her stomach immediately. At Charlotte, she's been pretty stable and they've been weaning her off of some of her life support blood pressure meds and trying to see if she can keep her blood pressure up on her own, which is a good sign. They are trying to keep her comfortable and as stable right now as possible. This is basically all the information they have currently. The doctor told me, we aren't out of the woods yet.

And she will definitely need to be in the hospital for a pretty long time. If she comes through, we will have to go through a lot of therapy...

Her boyfriend is the known cause of her health declining to this extent. Instead of trying to get help for her, he let her lay in feces and urine because he couldn't change her for 5 months. He kept her hidden from us all. I believe that's all I can say as there may be something criminally coming out of this.

I'm making this GoFundMe to help with hotel funds, gas, food, and anything my mama may need. This is a really hard time, first time I've ever gone through something like this. And it's all so overwhelming.
