Aid the Navarro Family's Recovery from Fire Devastation
Donation protected
My lifelong friend, Monique Navarro, is a shining example of love and resilience. She has dedicated her life to her children, building community, and helping others. If you know Monique, you know how enormous her heart is, showing up for everyone around her with boundless enthusiasm, generosity, and love.
Tragically, on January 7, 2025, a devastating fire swept through Pacific Palisades, completely engulfing her home on Erskine Drive, just blocks from Pali High. This fire has resulted in a total loss for her family.
In this horrific event, they lost everything: their family photos, furniture, important documents, clothes, jewelry, and, most heartbreakingly, her late mother’s paintings, sculptures, and cherished personal items. These were not just belongings; they held memories and love that can never be replaced. Most painfully of all, they lost a place they called home. Just yesterday, Monique discovered that nothing was salvageable from the ashes, and now she faces the overwhelming task of rebuilding her life from scratch.
This disaster has dealt a devastating blow to her family to navigate an uphill journey toward recovery.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and anyone moved by this story to ask for your help during this incredibly difficult time. We know many people are experiencing the same and can offer help to them or anyone in need.
All donations will go toward:
Everything needed to rebuild their life: clothes, toiletries, makeup, furniture, rent for a temporary home, first and last month's rent for a long-term home, security deposit on a future rental property, utilities, wifi, food, gas, dog food, vet bills, groceries, appliances, bedding, electronics, education costs for the kids, cell phone bills, and monthly medical insurance costs.
These things not only provide a shelter where they can all be together and a sense of safety but also help restore a sense of normalcy and dignity for a family who has lost everything.
Monique has always been a kind and supportive presence in the lives of those around her. Now, she needs our help to recover from this unimaginable loss. As many of you know, her business is selling real estate in this area which as you can imagine may be a challenge for the foreseeable future. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a profound difference in enabling her and her children to begin the vital process of rebuilding.
Acknowledging that many people are facing their own challenges. If you cannot donate at this time, sharing this message and fundraiser with others would help. Together, we can help her and her children regain their footing during this tragic time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. Your kindness will not only help Monique but will also remind her that she is not alone in this journey.
