and this is my story :

a certain moment, everything changed. Laughter turned into tears, joy into sorrow, and happiness into oppression. That's what happened to us and more.

Ten years ago, I got married and dreamed of a happy life. I worked hard, and my husband was supportive as we aimed for that dream. I gave birth to three children, excelled in my studies, and graduated from university with honors. I worked tirelessly to achieve the success I reached in my education and was on the verge of starting my career. Then, on October 7th, everything changed. War stole our dreams. We left our home under the fire and rockets, hoping to return in a few days, only to leave it forever. It was besieged, burned, and later completely destroyed. Our home wasn't just walls and furniture; it was hope, refuge, beautiful memories, and dreams we worked so hard to build. They destroyed our home and with it, the years of our lives.

I had to leave with my children, abandoning my husband trapped in the north of Gaza, leaving behind my family, friends, and my beautiful life. We fled the fire of war without money, clothes for me and my children, food, or a place to shelter us. All I desire in this world is to reunite with my husband outside Gaza, to gather the remaining fragments of our spirits, to heal our wounds and pains, and to rebuild a new life from scratch after losing everything.

Since the beginning of the war, I've been both a mother and a father to my children, taking care of them, tending to their feelings, and soothing their pains. In truth, I need all of this and more.

We are hoping to raise $30,000. The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to an account managed by me.

Your generous contributions will go towards the following:

$7,000 for the Rafah Crossing permit.

$500 for the fees of travel and transportation from Gaza to Egypt.

$20,000 will go towards shelter/house rental in Egypt, resettling, buying clothes, urgent healthcare, and other humanitarian needs for a few months up to 1 year.

Approximately $1,000 to cover GoFundMe transaction fees (%2.9+$0.30 per transaction)
