Support Nicholas' Educational Journey

Nicholas Walker is a Physical Education student at the University of Northern Iowa. Those fortunate enough to teach or take classes with Nicholas know how his humor and kindness foster a culture of community within the classroom. Nicholas truly is an integral part of the Kinesiology and Athletic Training department at UNI. Sadly, Nicholas’ father was recently diagnosed with, and passed away from cancer, amidst his academic pursuits.

Throughout his father's fight with cancer, Nicholas' family faced financial strains as his mother stepped away from work to prioritize caregiving while his father battled his diagnosis. In addition, Nicholas spent as much time as possible traveling home to spend time with his father, limiting his ability to work as well.

These financial strains have made it incredibly hard for Nicholas to pay for his education. He is the type of person who will truly use his determination and passion to make a profound impact on students and athletes alike. Your support will not only help alleviate some of his financial burdens but also ensure that he can continue his educational journey towards positively influencing the lives of others through education.
