Help Nour's Family survive life in Gaza from Tokyo and LDN

Hi my name is Shinji and I'm based in Tokyo. My colleague Moe and I are creating this international team to help our friend Nour and her 5 family members to survive life in Gaza. No matter how much, your contribution will be appreciated and will make a difference for this family.

Nour Almashharawi (25) is currently living in a tent in Deir al Balah, Gaza, with her 5 family members (Father, Mother, and her 3 younger brothers: Ahmed, Abdallah, and Yahya). Besides them, Nour also has one older brother, one older sister, and one younger sister, who are all married and raising their children on their own in Gaza. So total 17 family members are currently stuck in Gaza.

Our initial mission was to raise funds for Nour and her 5 family members currently living together in the same tent to evacuate to Egypt, which cost over 5,000 usd per person. Until the crossing opens, help them try to survive and buy basic necessities to provide food and clothing.

Nour and her family members had to leave their home. They changed locations 6 times up until now, and ended up in the tent, which currently they live in with no electricity nor clean water.

Everyday, Nour needs to walk far out of the camp to charge her smartphone, look for food and internet connection. In the area she lives in, over 1,000 people share one restroom, which usually makes people to wait about 30 minutes to 1 hour on queue.

And her 53 year old Mother is diagnosed with diabetes and heart disease, which gives another urgent reason for us on top of the already urgent situation, to find a way to get her family out of this situation.

Moe and I are working for a media corporation affiliated to public broadcaster in Japan, and we’ve got to know Nour on Instagram through our activity to protest against the violence in Gaza.

Since Japan isn’t a country supported on GoFundMe, our friend Jen based in LDN and LA has joined the team to execute our mission. No matter how much, your contribution will be appreciated and will make a difference.
