Aid Our Farm's Recovery from Losses

We are a small family farm with a mission that includes making an impact in our community through food donations.

In September we began noticing a hasty decline in our chicken flock’s health. We knew we were pushing our luck and our farm’s capacity with a flock size approaching 500 laying hens, too many ducks to count, a modest rafter of turkeys, and 19 honking, prissy geese. We also had about 150 Cornish Cross broiler chickens, which we were raising for meat.

In just over two years, we had built a solid brand and were so close to paying the farm’s bills from our egg sales. This catastrophe has forced a major rethinking of our future here, put our business in danger of closing and has made it impossible for us to fill food pantries with our eggs.
