Aid Rosalía's Recovery and Vet Bills

Wasn't prepared for this love to begin with. This is why. I know accidents happen. Only with God's healing hands will I forgive myself for not preventing this more. I had just given her some fresh food. She was eating and spilled some onto the floor. I went to grab the broom next to her cage, and it easily fell off the handle, falling on Rosa. The image won't leave my mind. I didn't know where the blood was coming from for a minute until we noticed it was under her wing. We rushed her to the animal hospital right away with my 10-year-old crying the whole ride and during rush hour. During her visit, they told us her chance of surviving the stressful environment at the hospital was low alone, and that killed us to hear. Hours later!! She ended up with a broken wing and a hematoma under her wing. She cannot be alone at all and often bites through this plastic cone.

Rosa loves flying all over the house, and we are asking for prayers for her to heal well so she can learn to fly again. She was such a happy, healthy, and fun-loving bird. We are hoping she outlives us one day. We are asking for ANY help financially. I'm a 2nd-grade teacher, and her bird papa works too as a driver, but he wasn’t able to work most of the day as he usually does. Bird dad mostly stayed home with her for almost 4 weeks now. We are coming up to her appointment on the 29th and still need to pay $595 more towards the vet bill. We are afraid without paying they will try to keep her until we pay it after her appointment. We also want the best for her and want her to be seen by the vet to remove her wrap and assess her healing.
