Aid Sazume's Recovery from Car Loss

Hi there. My name is Josh, or Sazume for the furry fandom.

A little backstory about me before we actually get into this: I'm mid 30s with a stable job that's close by my living arrangements. I drove around a lot for work and for travel as a volunteer at various conventions. I can't say that I'm living well, but I'm doing whatever I can to make ends meet. I've been a hardworking person over the years, very outgoing, and just always trying to make friends, create memories and help out wherever I can. Sadly, not everyone is able to go through life without some hardships.

On 12/9 at 2:30pm, on my way back from Midwest Furfest, my car unfortunately malfunctioned while on the highway, and when attempting to readjust the positioning, I ended up spinnning out and hitting a barrier. Thankfully, no one else was involved and by good graces, I was able to avoid injury.

The cause of the incident was my tire rod snapped, prior before the accident, I noted that my cruise control failed so I was having to manually drive (I drove a manual CRV). But as I was about an hour and a half away from home, I lost control of my car because of that.

Now for the real unfortunate part: due to my insurance coverage, I won't be able to total out my car because of my policies. And because of that, it's left me with nothing. Although as of today, I will continuing to talk with the insurance company to see what can be done.

The reason I have started this GoFundMe was to hope to get enough funds for a small car for the time being until I can work with my insurance. Any amount, any bit of help, signal boosting would go towards being able to get back on my feet and back to helping out in the world.
