Aid Shanice Beckett's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Donation protected

My name is Winnie. I am the mother of Shanice Beckett. Shanice(35) is my oldest daughter of 5. She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer stage 2, in November 2023, all from a lump she found. Once she did all the tests it turned to stage 4 quick It has spread to her liver, and spine, The cancer on her spine has caused a fracture to it. She has had 5 radiation treatments on her lower back and also 5 radiation treatments on her tail bone. She has good days and bad days. The treatment on her spine relived the pain in her back, but now she is experiencing pains in her legs as well as numbness. She was supposed to get a bone cast done but they need to find out what is causing the pain in her legs. There are days when she can not get out of bed. She has 3 children. One girl (16yrs) and 2 boys 13, 10. Her youngest is autistic nonverbal. It's really hard on them to see their mother go through this. Shanice is a very vibrant person. She loves to have fun with her children and family. Loves to sing and dance.. She has been in and out of the hospital several times. She lives in Wilkes Barre PA and I'm in New Jersey. I took a family leave from my job back in March-May, to help her out with the children. Shanice was able to walk and do many different things. When she is having a bad day she can't even get out of bed to do anything at all. It hurts her so much. With all the treatments and medication is taking a toll on her. I had to come back early because my youngest son broke his forearm on spring break and the doctors thought he needed surgery. So I had to leave her and be there for him. After that I had surgery myself so I couldn't do much but whatever I could I did. Once I returned to New Jersey her health went downhill. I travel back and forth to see her when I can. My car isn't working good but I manage. My grandchildren have stayed with me for a few weeks until she could manage and get around. I help out as much as I can, getting her Uber's to and from the hospital, doctor's appointments, and to the supermarket. I even got her a wheelchair so she doesn't have to put much pressure on her legs. Her youngest son's father (Randall)is there helping her with meals and whatever she needs, he is her caregiver and he takes care of her and the kids. It's hard on all of us. No one knows what cancer does to a person let alone family. I have dealt with deaths in my family but cancer is a whole different level. It hurts to know that my child is hurting day in and day out, that this is in her body causing all this damage. I pray every day and night for her and everyone else who is going through similar. As I am typing this she is at the hospital. Update: I just found out that the fracture of her spine got worse. She has had bone cement in her spine. She then got pneumonia. It is in the right lung. Twice the lung was drained and it is hard for her to breathe. Now the pneumonia is in both lungs. She only went home for a day and is right back in the hospital.I don't wish cancer on anyone. I am asking for a little of your help to help her.

Thank You in advance and May God Cover you all
