Support Seo&Shon Family After the Palisades Fire

Hello everyone. My name is Gwendolyn Seo, and my family has been living in the Pacific Palisades for the past 50 years. I made this GoFundMe page to support our family of 6 and our dog, Rosie, rebuild our home and regain some stability in our lives after the Palisades Fire.

Our grandparent’s home, where all of us lived together, was irreparably destroyed. My elderly grandparents, Kwang Chun Shon (87) and Kyung Ja Shon (82), first-generation Korean immigrants, not only lost their beloved home that they have built over the decades, but also everything we owned overnight. Our beloved home where my grandparents loved to garden, feed birds and create art will forever be missed.

The Palisades fire was absolutely devastating to the community and although so much will never be the same, we are hopeful that we can all recover. We are so grateful for all the love and support we have received during this difficult time and we sincerely thank everyone who has extended their help and compassion.
