Aid single father buisness man Marcus's Business Recovery

Donation protected
I am reaching out to share the story of Marcus L. Matthews, a local business owner and single father in a difficult situation. On March 24, 2025, at approximately 4:30 AM, his monogrammed 17ft moving truck was stolen from the Sunoco gas station at 11731 Hamilton Avenue, Detroit, MI 48202.

This truck is essential to his thriving moving company, which is 5-star rated.
Back story on 5MMovingSolutionsLLC:

From 2015 to 2018, while working full-time at Henry Ford Motor Company, Marcus dedicated himself to building his business from the ground up. He did moving jobs before and after work as well as on weekends. In 2018, he took a leap of faith and resigned from Ford Motor Company. He devoted himself to his moving business full time, and it flourished. He has flourished in the professional moving service industry, with 90% of his clients coming from personal referrals.

The last several years have been particularly challenging for Marcus. In 2020, he lost his mother, his hero, to complications from dementia. In 2021, he went through a divorce. In 2022, he lost his father. In 2023, his very first moving truck caught on fire and was destroyed. In an effort to build the 5MMoving Solutions brand, he expanded his services to include a 15ft dumpster rental service and re-selling refurbished used mattresses (less than 90 days old). More recently, he has taken on side contractor jobs for the distribution of pallets of water. There is nothing but greatness inside of him. He is determined to succeed.

Marcus is a proud father of 3, and his 13-month-old granddaughter is truly why he works so diligently to keep his business thriving and growing. He’s not only a great businessman and father, but he is an overall great human being. Always willing to give back to his family, friends, and community. All of his efforts are to provide a better future for his children and grandchildren.

Please, Detroit, help this respected businessman and dedicated father find his livelihood. Not only did the thieves take his truck but all of his moving equipment that he had acquired over the years, including numerous moving blankets, dollies, 4-ways, body harnesses, door guards, multiple heated vests, and lastly, his cherished tool bag, which he used for multiple disassemblies and reassemblies of needed furniture. Asking for any financial assistance to help him keep his business viable while the search for the truck is on.
