⭐️⭐️NEW UPDATEGOOD NEWS⭐️⭐️
Hey yall!!! So, I have an update from my Mayo trip (so far)…I had a few a appointments today, that went so smoothly! I GOT THE PRESCRIPTION FOR MY TPN!! There are a few logistical hoops to jump through because of living in Kansas, but that should be taken care of in the next couple days!! YALLLLLLL…this is such good news, this is what I have been needing and they helped so quickly!!
This has all been such a blessing!!! I should be able to get my TPN restarted within a few days of completing my appointments and returning home!! There is one last hiccup I am asking for help on…I need to pay $2,750 to my nutrition provider in order to place my initial ‘enteral feeding pump’ (the machine that pumps my food) order and begin my infusions. So I can get enough nutrients and start to get healthy enough that my organs can heal and we can restart my stomach.
I honestly just want to get healthy and strong enough that I can get back to my kids (I miss the unending chaos of being a mom) and my normal life and self again!! I don’t like living, maybe, barely (if you can call it that) as a sick person in and out of the hospital all the time…I miss my friends, I miss doing regular things and I just want my crazy life back!!!
I absolutely hate that I have to ask, but one last time can yall rally together to help me?! This is the last hurdle to a smooth, healthy recovery!! I can’t make a new go fund me and I can’t edit the goal but if we could please, PLEASE, PLEEEEASE pull together to raise $2,750, this one last time I would be eternally grateful!!!!
I thank you so much for all yalls support so far too!!! The love and emotional support, of course the donations, the blessings and well wishes and constant words of encouragement! Saying’it means the world to me’ just isn’t enough…it means SO much more!!
From the bottom of my heart, I can’t thank yall enough ✌❤️

UPDATE!!!
Hey yall! I just wanted to give an update to everyone on my new journey. I just got back from Mayo in Rochester and it went incredibly well! I was accepted into 3 different programs and am on a waitlist for a fourth! I will be going back a week from today to meet with 2 of my teams to get my supplemental nutrition started! Yay (this is what keeps me alive)!!! Then over the next 6 months I will be traveling to Rochester every 3 weeks for checkups. In June I get to meet my Third team and start the Nuclear GI program to restart my digestive organs after my nutrition and strength have improved enough.
This is extremely good news although it hard to make all of this possible. Like I have said before, I have had to stop working for a while and am not on disability or receiving any government assistance. It is gut wrenching, embarrassing and beyond humbling to ask people you know, love and respect for help. But, I have been blessed enough so far to be able to get the funds to start all of these programs and I am ETERNALLY grateful to those of you that donated and helped jump start this healing journey. I have had help in making these week long stays as cheap as possible and an awesome hotel staff right across the street to help while I am there. So, I am asking again for support to make these trips possible! Please do not feel obligated, however if you feel any desire to help at all it would mean everything to me. I really just want to get back to living a normal life with my kids and my family!! Please anything and everything helps! ✌❤️
My name is Tabitha, and I am in need of your help. I have been in the hospital since February due to a condition called gastroparesis (this means my stomach does not work and is in a paralyzed state, not functioning). My case has been handled at KU Medical Center for 16 surgeries this year. After every attempt and all the wonderful help we received from KU, I have been urgently referred to Mayo for several weeks of testing.
The past year of constant medical needs and bills associated with my condition have exceeded my means.
I hate asking for help. It’s the hardest thing to do, but this illness has taken control of my life, and I can’t do it alone anymore.
Please don’t feel obligated. However, anything is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your ongoing support in my time of need!!
