Aid delivery vehicles for Ukraine winter

Donation protected
Having made 4 trips since the Invasion in February of Ukraine by Russia we need to do more

Our first trip allowed us to take 2 vans loaded with warm clothes, baby and medical supplies, as well as purchasing canned and dried foods in Poland

More recently we were able to buy 3 Ambulances with support from local businesses, buy more medical supplies and they were driven to Poland and collected by Ukrainian volunteers from the KOLO charity

Last week I flew out to Ukraine to visit an orphanage, visit the warehouses in Truskavets and Kyiv and see the work being done on the ground.

At the orphanage I met children who had been displaced from the ravaged seaport city of Mariupol and was able give football shirts kindly donated by Everton FC and Marine FC but they need much more and we are working on that but big thanks to Everton and Marine for putting smiles on the children's faces if only for a short time

I was also able to present a signed Everton shirt by Vitaliy Mykolenko to the KOLO charity

We then delivered the last ambulance to Rivne City headquarters where it will be used to save lives, I was also able to purchase lightweight stretchers for each ambulance locally in Kyiv which again are desperately needed

I was taken to the devastated villages of Irpin and Bucha on the outskirts of Kyiv where 1800 people lost their lives in just a few days, this was a harrowing sight, but the people are rebuilding and cleaning and trying to get their lives back to some normality, I’m not sure that’s possible

But what is certain Ukraine and it’s people need much more help - more than I or others can do

After discussions with various people it became very apparent the next big problem is winter

They need 4 wheel drive vehicles to be able to deliver aid and supplies in the winter months, they need more warm clothes and medical supplies and hope

I purchased 1 vehicle this weekend and aim to try and raise £20,000 to buy 4 or 5 more reconditioned vehicles and drive them to Poland and then into Ukraine

5 vehicles will make a huge difference to the teams on the ground in Ukraine, enabling them to get much needed supplies to where they need to be as quickly as possible in icy and freezing conditions

Please please help if you can

Thank you
