Aidan Shandler Bar Mitzvah Project: PGA Hope
Hi I'm Aidan Shandler,
This November I will become a Bar Mitzvah, the time time when a Jewish 13-year-old boy enters adulthood and can become a more responsible and active member of his community.
For my mitzvah project, I am raising money for PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere.) PGA HOPE "introduces golf to veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being." Some of these vets lost limbs in battle. Others are struggling with mental health issues.
I am passionate about the game of golf. I try to play almost every weekend, I played in the PGA Jr. League as a little kid, and now play tournaments in New Jersey with U.S. Kids Golf. I am also the grandson and great-grandson of military veterans. With your donation, you can help me raise money for an organization that helps give back to those servicemen and women who gave so much for our country.
You can visit PGA Hope to learn more about how PGA Reach is helping military veterans through this great game. I will also be holding events to raise money and awareness of this organization throughout October. You can visit my dad's Facebook page for more updates as they are posted.
Thank you!
Aidan
