Aidan's Cause

I never thought that I would do such a thing, but this is me reaching out as a mom who is fighting to make sure her son continues the help that he desperately needs for his mental health. Aidan is almost 14 years old and is desperately looking forward to having some sense of normalcy at 14 since being 13 years old has been the toughest for him. You see Aidan not only struggles with being Autistic but was recently diagnosed with Severe OCD with intrusive thoughts. Unfortunately, this took him into a spiral of events with 2 hospitalizations each ranging a month to now living at a residential treatment center. Unfortunately, insurance isn’t the greatest when it comes to mental health and now, I must figure out how to pay for it out of my pocket. The cost for Aidan to continue his services is $1,050 a day and the treatment center would like to continue working with Aidan as he is not ready to come home. As a mother I need what is best for him and this is what is best as both him and I do not ever want to experience what we did when he was hospitalized. I hate that I ask this but I’m in need for him to continue his help. Whatever you can donate would help my boy out and I hope that one day HE can share his story with you all!
