Aiden & Alder Hey

One of our Ysgol Bryn Clwyd children, Aiden, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, three weeks ago. Aiden is currently in Alder Hey Hospital receiving fantastic care from all the doctors and nurses, alongside his Mum and Dad. Aiden is showing tremendous spirit and resilience and as a school, we could not be prouder of him! As a Federation, we express all our thoughts to Aiden and his family and want to support them in every way possible.

Due to the nature of Aiden's condition, it has been impossible for the family to continue to work due to Aiden's low immunity and risk of picking up illness. We at Ysgol Bryn Clwyd and Ysgol Gellifor want to help in any way we can in supporting his family.

Our Headteacher, Ben Lindquist, will have his hair shaved by Aiden and will also be running a half marathon for Aiden and his family.

Any money raised will go towards supporting Aiden and his family.
