Aiden as he starts his leukemia journey

Hello this fundraiser is to help raise money for Aiden Love and his family as he starts his leukemia journey. This family is so near and dear to so many people and have always been there to help anyone in need. Now it’s our turn to give back and help them. 7-13-2022 PRAYER REQUEST

This is not a post that I want to make or ever thought I would ever have to make. I feel like it’s the best way to get it out to people so they can help pray him through this journey…

Aiden got sick in mid June and was diagnosed with strep. After several days he hadn’t gotten any better. He ran high fevers, lost weight, lost his color and just over all exhausted. After a course of antibiotics he was getting worse. I took him to the ER on July 1st and they did blood work and transferred him to Levine’s. They were able to give him blood and platelets to get his numbers up because his counts were extremely low. They decided to do a bone marrow biopsy and unfortunately it was what we feared. Aiden has officially been diagnosed with Leukemia. They are not sure of which type yet because he is showing traits of 2 different ones. He is home from the hospital and we are just waiting on further tests to determine his course of treatment. We feel some what at ease knowing that this is a very treatable cancer but this is still our baby.

He is doing very well other than just being exhausted all the time. He has handled the news VERY well. Way better than his parents. The point of this post is just to have our prayer warriors help pray him along this journey. We believe in THE almighty healer and know he will see him through this but we could certainly use prayers along the way. Right now there is still a lot of unknowns but will try to update as we know more. He still has tests pending that we hope to hear back from you soon. Thank you for the calls, texts, and messages. If we don’t respond just know that they have not gone unnoticed and we appreciate everyone.

7-18-2022 Aiden update

Posting here because it’s a lot…

I brought Aiden in today for a repeat bone marrow biopsy and blood work. As we were leaving the doctor called us back in to go over his blood work. So last week his numbers were good and they were only seeing the leukemia in his marrow and not his blood. At this appointment today his numbers were elevated and they could see the blasts in his blood as well as an enlarged spleen none of which was happening last week. Because things are changing so quickly they have decided to admit him back to Levine’s and start his treat sooner rather than later. They are putting in a central line tomorrow and starting his chemo instead of waiting until next week. His official diagnosis is CML in blast crisis. Thank you all for praying over him through this. He is doing really well!! Other than just being tired you really can’t even tell he has anything going on. I’ll continue to update more as things go.
